			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thousands and thousands of years ago (or something &#8211; I&#8217;m not good with lengths of time), <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla" target="right">Nikola Tesla</a> had a dream: to transmit electricity through thin air. And despite a number of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_energy_transfer" target="new">demoralizing successes</a>, he kept his nose to the lodestone and eventually &#8212; through a lot of hard work and determination &#8212; died without seeing his dream accepted by the greater scientific community. </p>
<p>I like to think that if he could see this video demonstration of wireless electrical transfer, he&#8217;d say something like, &#8220;How did that little man get inside this box here on your desk?&#8221;</p>
